Berwick Reserves booked an East of Scotland League Cup quarter final tie away to Hibs Reserves this Saturday ( April 26th ), cruising to this Preliminary Round win at a murky Shielfield on Tuesday night.

There were two goals in five minutes before half time. Hawick’s Innes Zenati headed Kenny O’Brien’s corner into his own net after keeper Dean Fry turned away a Lewis Turner shot. O’Brien then put Dean Carse through for number three.
Morris scored the first two goals of the new half, with O’Brien adding another. A long punt from keeper Ross McMullen bounced for Morris to stab home his third.
There was brief respite for Hawick when Kevin Strathdee pulled one back, but two minutes later, Turner soundly beat Fry from the edge of the box. Undeterred by being forced wide by the Albert defence, Morris still managed to conjure an easy goal for Regan Graham and Dean Hoskins came forward and met a Turner corner to head home the eighth.
Rangers’ defence blocked three shots in rapid succession as the visitors sought a second consolation goal, but Ewan Saunderson rubbed salt into their wounds with a ninth for Berwick.
