Scotland women’s coach Anna Signeul has called up Chirnside footballer Joelle Murray for the Euro 2017 qualifier against Macedonia.
The Hibernian Ladies midfielder returns to the squad after being ommitted in recent games and she is one of three Hibs players in the squad.
Scotland, who lie top of Group 1 with nine points out of nine, host Macedonia at St Mirren Park in Paisley on Sunday, November 29.
Also called up is uncapped goalkeeper Lee Alexander for the Euro 2017 qualifier against Macedonia.
The 24-year-old was part of the Glasgow City side that won the domestic treble this year.
Meanwhile, young Swinton footballer Gregor Watson has been making a name for himself on the other side of the Atlantic.
Gregor, in his first year at Rocky Mountain College in Montana has helped his team, the RMC Bears, to secure a conference championship. The defender has been an ever-present in the Bears backline this season with a number of assured and confident performances which has also earned him a second Team Conference accolade.
The RMC Bears were the first team in the country to secure an automatic tournament place and they will be quietly confident about their chances.
