Berwick Rangers inducted the first players into their new ‘Hall of Fame’ at the weekend.

Former goalkeeper Gary O’Connor, ex-player-manager Eric Tait, and two of the 1967 team which famously beat Glasgow Rangers 1-0 in the Scottish Cup - Russel Craig and Sammy Reid - were all honoured at a Legends’ Dinner held in the Black and Gold Club on Saturday.

O’Connor, Tait and Craig were all in attendence at the event, but unfortunately Reid, who was the scorer of the goal which beat Rangers at Shielfield in one of the greatest cup giantkilling acts of all time, died in 2014 and his award was presented posthumously. Picture by Allistair Grieve.
