Duns notched up their buggest win of the season on Saturday against Burntisland Shipyard.

Despite taking the lead the Shipyard had a miserable day missing a penalty and also having a man sent off.

Jordan Lauder bagged a superb hat-trick taking him through the 20 goal mark for the season and in the process putting him into the top 20 on the club’s all time scorers chart.

However, Kevin Masson’s spot kick wa brilliantly saved by Duns keeper Sean Robertson.

Play raged from end to end before Michael Robinson scored twice to put the Dingers 2-1 up and Jordan Lauder helped himself to a brace to increase the lead to 4-1.

The second half was less lively but Kieran Bullen, Lauder for the hat-trick and Daniel Pattenden all scored without reply to round off a good day for the home side with a 7-2 win.

The visitors were reduced to ten men with the score at 6-2 when Ben Coupar was red-carded for something he said to the referee.
