Charities Cup attracts entry of 32 teams

THE 2012 Berwick Charities Cup kicked off last week with an entry of 32 teams.

Play will now continue throughout the summer months on Tuesday and Thursdays at 7pm and Saturdays at 6.30pm.

All games will be decided on the night with 30 minutes extra-time and penalties if required.

Results from first round games played so far are:

Borussia Teeth 15, AS Coldingham 0; Wooler FC v Greenvale - postponed due to heavy rain, re-arranged for Wednesday, May 16; Over 30s 2, Prior Wolves 5.
