Greenlaw were narrowly beaten 2-1 at Hawick Waverley on Satuiday.

Waverley took an early lead when Jordan Yardley curled a free kick into the net from 25 yards but Greenlaw came rallying and were denied an equaliser by a brilliant save from Waverley keeper Kerr Brown.

In the second half Waverley were reduced to ten men when Davis Hope was sent off Greenlaw equalised when Ross Smillie set up James Thomson to score. Waverley, however, had the last say when Yardley scored.

Duns Reserves lost 2-1 at home to Linton Hotspur despite taking a 1-0 lead through a Jamie Lackenby overhead kick but Linton Hotspur took the points with two goals and also missed a penalty.

Gordon defeated Hawick Legion 3-1 while Chirnside United were 4-0 losers at Jed Legion. Eyemouth Amateurs secured a 4-2 victory at Ancrum but Coldstream Amateurs lost 3-2 at Gala Hotspur.
