Greenlaw’s new management team are promising some new signings in an effort to keep the Berwickshire side in Division A.

Prof Blaikie and brother George took over at WP Happer Memorial Park after Lawrie Dunn left the club, and watched their new side edged out at Stow.

It leaves them second bottom of Division A, with a fight to avoid relegation on their hands.

The game was switched to Stow after Greenlaw’s WP Happer Memorial Park was ruled unplayable.

Greenlaw struck first after just five minutes when William Smillie header from a long throw looped over Stow goalkeeper Tom Kerr. But the hosts were level just two minutes later through James Runciman and when Ryan Grant tapped home for a debut goal, it was 2-1 with just ten minutes on the clock.

Greenlaw’s Lee Hannan (pictured above) levelled the scores with a great free kick but Gass grabbed Stow’s winner in the second half.
