Berwick Rangers have confirmed that striker Scott Dalziel and midfielder Paul Currie have left to join junior East Superleague leaders Kelty Hearts for an undisclosed fee.

Both players made their Kelty debuts from the bench during yesterday’s 0-0 draw away to Penicuik Athletic yesterday.

They join two more former Berwick players at the Fife club – Craig O’Reilly and Gary Greenhill.

Dalziel, 29, was put on the transfer list last week. He joined Berwick on a full transfer from Brechin City in January 2013 and had previously served Stenhousemuir, Cowdenbeath and East Fife.

Dalziel has scroed 14 goals for Berwick.

Currie re-joined Berwick for a second spell a year ago from Bonnyrigg Rose.

The attacking midfielder, who will be 30 later this month, scored 19 goals in 62 appearances in his first spell at the club from 2009 to 2011 before joining Hamilton.
