Berwick Rangers have announced a price increase for the 2013-14 season.

The rise is the first in almost ten years and will see gate prices go up by £2 and £1 (concessions) accordingly.

A statement from the club said: “The club feel that fans will appreciate the fact that Berwick have held these admission prices for so long, and the charges have only increased by £2 and £1.”

Prices at the gate for league games (seated or terrace) will be £12 for adults, £6 concessions and £2 for U16s, the latter price brought back in after messages received from young fans.

Season ticket prices though have only increased by a peppercorn amount and cover league games and reserve matches.

Prices are as follows (Last season in brackets): Adult £144 (£140), concessions £72 (£70) and a special Under 16 season ticket is £10 (look for news soon on another perk for youngsters buying these tickets).

Corporate season tickets will be £400 inc VAT for director box/lounge.

The club said: “Taking 18 league games only the season tickets represent excellent value for money, working out at £8 per match for adults, concessions £4 per game and Under 16 at around 50p per game!”

Initially tickets are available by post from the club with cheques made payable to the club - please include a self addressed envelope.
