BERWICK Rangers manager Ian Little has added to his squad by bringing in three new players, while Ian McCaldon has returned to the club as goalkeeping coach.

Former Newtongrange Star player Damian Gielty has agreed to sign, but clearance must first be obtained from his latest club, FC Avenir Beggen, in Luxembourg. He has had permission via SFA to play in friendlies as a trialist and has impressed in bounce games and training already.

Defender Dean Droudge, 23, has also signed up and will give cover in the heart of defence or at full-back. Striker John Ferguson, 20, who came in late last season from Cowdenbeath, has also put pen to paper for the new season.

McCaldon, meanwhile, is now back with the club and will double up as goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach.

Little has already made new signing Youssef Bejaoui his No1, while other new signings include former Alloa, Brechin and East Fife midlfielder Neil Janczyk, left-sided defender/midfidler Dean Hoskins from Spartans and central defender/midfielder Doug Brydon from Duns.
