BERWICK Rangers manager Ian Little believes the return to the club of winger Ross Gray on loan from First Division Livingston for a third time will give Berwick more options in attack.
Gray came off the bench in the Third Division match against Queen’s Park at Hampden on Saturday and is free to feature in this weekend’s Scottish Cup third round clash at Stenhousemuir.
“We have been lacking a bit of creativity in the final third of the pitch recently and I am sure Ross will provide that for us,” said Little.
“He did really well when he was with Berwick before and I am sure he will do so again. The experience will help get him established at Livingston when he goes back.”
However, Little does not necessarily go along with those who say the weakness in Berwick’s team is up front.
“I think some people maybe expect us to win three or four nil every week, but it is not that easy,” he pointed out. “I’m happy with what we have, but Ross will give us more options on the wing and will give us more strength in depth.”
