Ferguson joins Spartans

JOHN Ferguson, the Berwick Rangers striker released by manager Ian Little last week, has joined Spartans until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old scored three goals in 12 appearances for Berwick after signing from Cowdenbeath in the summer, but was deemed surplus to requirements.

Little said last week: “John is just not what we need at the moment, so we thought it was best if he moved on. He is leaving with our best wishes.”
