Steven Notman is sent off as Berwick surrender a 3-1 half-time lead at Broadwood.

After racing into an early lead and dominating the first half, Colin Cameron looked set to make it three wins out of three as Berwick manager.

But Clyde fought back late in the second half, Brian McQueen equalising in the last minute.

It all started to go wrong for Berwick when Scott Ferguson pulled a goal back for Clyde 14 minutes from time with a left-footed shot from outside the box which found the bottom corner.

Two minutes later defender Michael Dunlop had to be taken off with a dislocated shoulder.

That setback was compounded 60 seconds later when Notman, who had already been booked for diving, was sent off for a second bookable offence.

With Berwick wounded, Clyde smelled blood and piled on the pressure.

After going close more than once McQueen found space inside the box to fire a right-footed shot into the corner from six yards.

It was a disappointing end to a match that could not have started any better for Rangers.

The visitors got off to a flyer when a Lee Currie free-kick was headed in by Dunlop after just two minutes.

It was his first goal for Berwick and Josh Morris followed suit with his first league goal for the club.

The striker doubled the lead by getting a touch to flick the ball over the line after Cameron’s low free-kick evaded everyone.

Even when Clyde pulled one back with a Michael Daly header in the 37th minute, Berwick went up the other end and restored their two-goal lead right away.

It was Paul Currie who was in the right place to head home Notman’s cross at the back post and continue his scoring spree.

Berwick deserved their lead at that stage and went in at half time with their tails up.

But they could not maintain the same level of performance after the break and it all unravelled.
