Berwick Rangers have started building their squad for next season by confirming the signing of 12 players.
Manager Ian Little has revealed that eight first team regulars have put pen to paper on new contracts, along with four fringe players.
Three other first teamers have also been offered terms, and Little is expecting to hear back from them shortly.
Those who have agreed deals include:
defenders Devon Jacobs, Dean Hoskins, Damien Gielty; midfielders Neil Janczyk, Stevie Notman, Lee Currie; and strikers Darren Lavery and Scott Dalziel; and fringe players Dean Carse, Josh Morris ,Kenny O’Brien and Jonny Fairbairn.
The three who have yet to accept new deals include skipper Chris Townsley, central defender Dougie Brydon and attacking midfielder Fraser McLaren.
There is no place, however, for midfielder Kevin McDonald, who has been released, and central defender Andy McLean who has announced he is leaving the club to spend a ‘year out’ in Australia.
Also being released are defenders Marc Lancaster and Dene Droudge, who spent most of last season on the injured list, and striker Phil Addison, who figured mainly with the reserves.
