Berwick’s top marksman, Darren Lavery walked off with three trophies at the end of season ‘Player of the Year’ awards.

Lavery, who has netted 18 times this season, was named top goalscorer, but also picked up the awards from the Supporters’ Trust and his fellow players.

Fullback Devon Jacobs lifted two awards, from the Supporters’ Club and the Borders Supporters’ Club.

Lee Currie was named as the Directors’ POTY and he also lifted the award from the Junior Supporters’ Club.

The Tweeddale Press Trophy went to central defender Dougie Brydon.

Earlier in the day the Josser Johnson ‘Clubman’ award was made to John Robertson, for the work he has carried out around the stadium over the years.

Director John Hush, on behalf of the Supporters’ Club, also handed over a cheque for £550, matched by an anonymous donor, to Gemma Law, to help purchase a new wheelchair, after hers was stolen. The money was from half-time draws organised by the club.
