VOTING in the Borders Sport and Leisure Celebration of Sport Awards sponsored by GB Telecom closes on Thursday, February 28, and Berwickshire residents are being urged to make sure they have their say before it’s too late.

Several of the Award winners will be decided by public vote and amongst the shortlisted contenders is young Berwickshire sailor, 17-year-old Callum Airlie.

The other nominees in the Inspirational Performance category are paralympic sprinter Libby Clegg and show jumper Scott Brash.

The GB Telecom Borders Sport and Leisure celebration of Sport Awards features a total of ten categories.

An expert judging panel will select the winners of seven awards whilst the other three will be decided by public vote.
