Berwick took the derby honours with a comfortable win over Duns in East League 1.
Gareth Hill and Jamie Pick each scored two tries as the Blacks continued their assault on the top of the table.
Shane Armstrong gave Berwick an early 0-3 lead when he kicked a penalty.
Gareth Hill then finished off a good move which had started in the visitors’ own half, but the conversion was missed as the Blacks stretched their lead to 0-8.
A penalty try was then awarded and the conversion added from under the posts which extended the advantage to 0-15, but Duns looked dangerous in spasms and they went close, only to be denied by a good covering tackle from Dan Law.
Another Armstrong penalty made it 0-18, and when Law touched down out wide after good handling by Jackson, an Armstrong conversion made it 0-25 and Berwick were well on their way to victory.
As Berwick continued to press Roy MacFarlane added a try, unconverted, and at half-time the Scremerston side led 0-32.
Straight from kick-off at the start of the second half Duns were caught napping and a second try for Hill, with another conversion, extended Berwick’s advantage to 0-39.
Duns unfortunately dropped the ball over the line which meant they failed to get off the mark, and they were punished a few minutes later when Jamie Pick used his pace to surge through a gap to touch down at the other end. The conversion drifted wide, but Berwick led 0-44.
With Berwick clearly in the ascendency, and Duns unable to force a score, the game them lost its earlier intensity, but there was still time for Berwick to run in another try from their own half, finished off by Pick, who touched down for his second score of the game.
The conversion was missed but Berwick led 0-49, which was how it finished.
