Dingers’ fixtures set for next season

Duns Rugby Club started their pre-season training this week with sessions for their seniors, under-18s, under-16s and under-15s.

And the players were given a little extra motivation with the publication of their fixtures for the upcoming season.

The full league programme for Duns is: September 7th Hawick Harlequins (A), September 14th North Berwick (H), September 21st Linlithgow (A), September 28th Langholm (H), October 5th RHC (A), October 12th Portobello (H), October 19th Dunbar (A), October 26th Hawick Linden ( H), November 2nd Preston Lodge (A), November 16th Hawick Harlequins (H), November 23rd North Berwick (A), November 30th Linlithgow (H), December 7th Langholm (A), December 14th RHC (H), January 11th Portobello (A), January 18th Dunbar (H), January 25th Hawick Linden (A), February 1st Preston Lodge (H).

The dates for matches in the Shield are still to be announced, as well as the order in which those matches are to be played.

After securing promotion to East 2 last season, and after going through East 3B undefeated last season Duns reserves will be playing in East 2 this season.

The Duns seconds are set to battle it out with eight other clubs, including some of the most famous names in Borders rugby.
