There willl be many lavish outfits on display at Paxton House from Saturday when the mansion house opens the doors of its new exhibition Re-Dress.
The show will feature Paxton’s very own world class collection of 18th Century menswear which has been newly conserved.
Also on show will be new designs by students from Heriot-Watt University inspired by Paxton’s historic fashion and design.
Selected pieces from the collection will be on display in the House all season and a second exhibition will run from August 6-31.
Admission to the show is £5 adults and £3 children. This project is supported by the Museums Association and the Esmee Fairbairn Collections Fund.
