Top speakers for Duns Rotary’s Charity Dinner

Rotary Club of Duns have attracted three top class speakers for their Charity Dinner to be held in the Volunteer Hall, Duns, on Saturday, April 25.

Guests speakers are George McNeill (pictured above), Isobel Rutter and Ernie Coe. George started his sporting career as a professional footballer playing with Hibs, Morton and Stirling Albion. He is also a record holding sprinter and is now a well accomplished after dinner speaker. Isobel is a highly acclaimed after dinner speaker and a gifted singer, musician and actress. Ernie is a popular raconteur and popular public speaker.

Tickets priced £35, are available from Marshall Wilson on 01361 883771 (starts 7pm, lounge suits, tables of 10). The event’s main sponsor is Farne of Scotland and all proceeds will go to Alzheimer Scotland, the chosen charity of Duns Rotary Club for this year. This is an evening for ladies and gentlemen, a ‘not to be missed’ event. There will also be an auction and a raffle.
