The Berwickshire Federation of the SWI once again held their annual show in the Volunteer Hall, Duns.

There were a large number of entries from the various institutes with Abbey St Bathans WI winning the Crookshanks Cup for the institute winning the most points in show irrespective of membership.

The Winfield Trophy, awarded to the individual with most points in the show went to Anne Knox of Abbey St Bathans WI.

Trophy winners were as follows:

The Barbour Cup awarded to the individual member winning the most points in the Flower Section - Wilma Craig (Eccles); The Crookshanks Trophy awarded to the institute winning most points in the show irrespective of membership - Abbey St Bathans; The Logan Home Trophy for institutes with membership of 30 and over -

Cockburnspath; The Katherine Swinton Trophy for institutes with membership between 15-29 - Abbey St Bathans; The Golden Jubilee Trophy for institutes with 14 members and under - Allanton; The Stevenson Trophy for institutes winning most points in the handcraft section - Abbey St Bathans; The Patricia Mitchell Trophy for institute winning most points in the housewifery section - Cockburnspath; Eccles Jubilee Cup awarded to the individual winning most points in the handcraft section - Joyce Luby (Allanton); The Fogo Cup awarded to the individual winning most points in the housewifery section - Mary Mitchell (Cockburnspath); Lady Ramsay’s Book and Old Cambus Teapot awarded to the insitute winning most points in the community section - 1. Langton, 2. Cockburnspath, 3. Coldingham; Federation Trophy awarded in the Community Section - 1. Abbey St Bathans, 2. Oxton, 3. equal Lauder and Langton; Winfield Trophy awarded to the individual with the most points in the show - Anne Knox (Abbey St Bathans); Ella Johnstone Trophy awarded to the individual member winning most points in the Knitting Section - Joyce Luby (Allanton).

Special prizes for the member with the most points in each Section were awarded as follows:
