The National Museum of Flight at East Fortune is getting set for the festive season with a special Supersonic Christmas event on board a Boeing 707 this weekend.

Supersonic Christmas on Saturday and Sunday, December 18 and 19, will give children the chance to meet Santa on board the aircraft, take part in some Christmas craft sessions and see the rest of the Museum’s amazing exhibits including supersonic icon, Concorde.

Grant MacKenzie, general manager at the National Museum of Flight said; “Our Supersonic Christmas event is a firm favourite with children who love the idea of meeting Santa.

“It’s also a great opportunity for visitors to see some of the amazing exhibits here at the Museum so we hope as many people will come along to enjoy some festive fun.”

Supersonic Christmas at the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune runs from 12 noon until 4pm this Saturday and Sunday.

Admission: adults £9, concessions £7, child under 12 £5 (includes gift from Santa).
