Borders College landscaping students have been putting their skills to good use in aid of charity.

The students have built a permanent level base for the new cattery at the Borders Pet Rescue Centre in Earlston.

Staff at the centre are delighted with the clean, sturdy area created for their new cattery and were impressed with the hard work and professionalism shown by the students, who had to work in typical Scottish winter weather.

Pictured above are the students who helped.
