Search for kayakers ends well

Eyemouth inshore and all-weather lifeboats were launched shortly after 8pm on Thursday 23 June 2016 after concerns were raised for two overdue kayakers who had set out from Coldingham Bay heading for Pease Bay.

The lifeboat crew also liaised with a passing cargo vessel and requested that they keep a sharp lookout but at 8.25pm it was reported that both kayakers had been found safe and well, and all search units were stood down.
