Around 300 schoolchildren from all over Scotland have been learning about career prospects during visits to Torness Nuclear Power Station.

The youngsters have been finding out about the possibilities a future in science, technology, engineering and maths can offer.

The ‘open learning week’ took place at the visitor centre at Torness which attracted interest from East Lothian’s MSP Iain Gray who is pictured above with some of the children.
