The final two ‘Cultural Conversations’ focused on developing the cultural strategy for the Scottish Borders are taking place in Peebles and Duns in the coming week.
The events are intended to enable the sharing of ideas and knowledge and encourage conversations about what is important about arts and culture in the area.
Previous events took place in Hawick and Galashiels in March and April.
The cultural conversations are open to anyone interested in, or working in arts and culture in the Borders, including heritage and tourism.
The final two events take place at the Eastgate Theatre, Peebles on Wednesday June 24, and the Volunteer Hall, Duns on Monday June 29.
Refreshments will be available from 6.30pm, with both events starting at 7pm and finishing by 9pm.
At the events there will be a presentation on projects local to each area. Karen Dick, development partnership officer for Creative Scotland, will also give an update on the ongoing ‘place partnership’ in the Borders.
There will be time for questions, suggestions and the exchanging of ideas.
The events are open to the public, however attendees are asked to book their place by calling Creative Arts Business Network (CABN) on 01450 360441.
A copy of the cultural strategy is available from the Scottish Borders Council website.
