The trust responsible for the redevelopment of Duns swimming pool is looking for public support to win a prestigious charity prize.
Berwickshire Recreation Education Sports Trust (BREST) is nominated in the Community Action category of the Scottish Charity Awards, along with four other projects.
But this year, organisers have set up the Heart and Soul awards, which will be determined by a public vote.
BREST took over the pool in 1997 after the local council had decided to close it down.
Regeneration has been steady, and the site now boasts top-level facilities for swimmers of all ages and abilities, including disabled access.
The pool works closely with local youth community groups like the beavers, scouts and brownies, and offers extensive training and career development for its staff.
It also integrates work experience schemes with schools in the surrounding area.
