Police are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing at West Linton.

Kevin Dalgetty was not in his home in Kingside Cottages when his son came to visit at around 11pm on Monday evening.

Attempts were made to contact the 52-year-old but so far these have been unsuccessful and he has not been seen or heard from since Sunday evening. It is believed he may be driving his silver Renault Traffic van, which has ‘Straiton Building and Roofing Services’ in black on the side.

Anyone who can assist officers with their inquiries is asked to come forward.

Kevin is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall with a stocky build, dark brown hair and a tattoo of a Japanese fish on his left forearm. It is not known what he was last seen wearing.

Inspector Keith Dougal said: “I would ask that Kevin make contact with a family member, friend or with police to let us know he is safe.”

Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101.
