Poice Scotland have identified the man who hasn’t been found since diving close to St Abbs Head on Sunday.
Paul Andrew Brown (49) from Manchester was with a group of divers on a boat from Eyemouth but failed to return to the surface with his buddy diver.
The alarm was raised at around 10.30am and a search, co-ordinated by Aberdeen Coastguard, saw lifeboat crews from St Abbs, Eyemouth and Dunbar; coastguard teams, local dive and fishing boats and an RAF Seaking helicopter, work into the night in an attempt to find him.
This carried on into Monday and early Tuesday before being called off due to rough seas and poor visibility under water.
A police helicopter crew surveyed the coastline but were unable to find Mr Brown.
