The National Museum of Flight’s Concorde G-BOAA got a full spring clean this week as the museum at East Fortune announced a new season of events for spring and summer 2015 and full seven-day-a-week opening from Easter.
Concorde’s spring clean was carried out by expert contractors, using harnesses to secure themselves as they reach every corner of the aircraft. Concorde celebrated its 10th year at the National Museum of Flight in 2014, and is cleaned regularly as part of its maintenance and conservation programme.
The events taking place at the National Museum of Flight in spring and summer 2015 are: What a Drag! - April 3-12; Wartime Experience - Sunday, May 10; Scotland’s National Airshow - Saturday, July 25.
