The group will perform wartime songs as part of the event, which is supported by players of People�"s Postcode Lottery and also features cookery demonstrations, children�"s activities and the chance to meet Santa inside a Boeing 707.

Fourteen year old Rebecca Kinross from ‘Musical Youth and Encore’ prepares for the Home Front Christmas event at the National Museum of Flight, East Fortune, East Lothian on Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8. The group will perform wartime songs as part of the event, which is supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery and also features cookery demonstrations, children’s activities and the chance to meet Santa inside a Boeing 707.

Concorde karaoke carol-singing, wartime story-telling, 1940s children’s games and the chance to meet Santa inside a passenger aircraft fuselage are just some of the treats on offer for visitors to the National Museum of Flight’s Home Front Christmas event. from 10am until 4pm both days.

The museum’s hangars will be open for visitors to see famous wartime aircraft including a Spitfire and a Messerschmitt Komet, and also view the Second World War parachute store.
