There were plenty of fun fashions on show in Eyemouth on Monday night as the Herring Queen staged its annual fancy dress parade.
Always a popular draw with people of all ages, the fancy dress always gathers a crowd of creative costumes and this year was no different.
There were some very current outfits with nods to the Commonwealth Games and T in the Park; local themes with Gunsgreen Smugglers and an Eyemouth Harbour Master in attendance and some classic characters with Edward Scissorhands, The Addams Family and Dorothy and her friends from ‘The Wizard of Oz’ all making an appearance.
The parade was led by Eyemouth Pipe Band dressed as cowboys and indians and floats carrying Herring Queen Ailsa and her court and 2013 Queen Devon and her court, who came dressed for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
