NHS Borders is halfway through its twelve week consultation on future delivery of local health services and wants to hear your views.
Patients, carers, staff, partner agencies and members of the public are being encouraged to give their thoughts and views on the proposals that aim to deliver high quality healthcare to the Scottish Borders.
Among the changes being considered are: a children and young people’s centre at Borders General Hospital; unscheduled out-of-hours care provided from a single hub, with home assessments made by a paramedic nurse or doctor; and extending community based dementia services similar to those piloted in the Eastern Borders.
The Clinical Strategy consultation document is available in a number of locations throughout the Scottish Borders including your local GP practice and libraries. A paper format or as a PDF document is available on request. For your copy please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone Freephone 0800 7314052.
NHS Borders staff will be at the Berwickshire Area Forum meeting on Thursday, June 5, 6.30pm, Council Chamber, Newtown St, Duns to discuss future heal care services in the region.
