Corrie Scott, a member of Scotland’s swimming team for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, was at Ayton Primary School last week as part of the ‘Champions in Schools’ scheme.

This was Corrie’s second visit to the school. During her first visit she spoke to Primary 4 pupils about setting goals and good nutrition and she returned to see how the pupils were working towards achieving their goals.

The youngsters heard all about Corrie’s strict training regime leading up to the Commonwealth Games and the importance of healthy eating.

Corrie then led a most enjoyable PE session which included circuit training.
