Scottish Water is launching a photography competition to raise awareness of its multi-million pound investment in treatment works and infrastructure in the Scottish Borders.
Targeting S1 to S6 pupils, entrants are asked to submit a photo, capturing the River Tweed through their eyes.
There will be a prize of book vouchers for first (£60), second (£40) and third (£30) and the entrants will be judged by a Scottish Water panel and the winners unveiled at an event later this year, which will mark the completion of a number of the public utility’s recent investments in the area.
To be in with a chance of winning Scottish Water is encouraging young people to email their picture to firstname.lastname@example.org along with their name, age and school.
The closing date for entries is July 28.
