Copath celebrate Centenary The Whole School gather to recognise the last 100 years of the existing Cockburnspath primary School and the look forward to the next 100 years.

Cockburnspath Primary School has this year been celebrating 100 years at its Callender Place location.

The local Community Council very kindly assisted the school in celebrating its centenary. With these funds whole school visited Paxton House and purchased a beautiful bench and a plaque for the wall to mark the date the school building was begun.

The local community, together with the Parent Council put together and excellent exhibition of photography. Many people visited and commended the collection.

After another excellent year, this the schools one hundredth year, the celebrations l conclude with parents and carers and community members being cordially invited to attend an assembly.

On Friday, June 6, Mr Ward unveiled the new school logo and raised the new Cockburnspath Primary School flag.

They are looking forward to another 100 years of Cockburnspath Primary School and to commemorate that fact they have also launched their new school uniform.
