Borders Pet Rescue has a new chairperson following the retirement of Julia Romanes.
Ms Romanes has handed over the reins after nearly 10 years of service.
The new chairperson is Earlston resident Beth Duff. A former teacher and business consultant, Beth has experience of working with animals in education and is enthusiastic about her new role.
She said: “The charity has a vital role to play in the community and I look forward to working with local groups and businesses as we implement plans to upgrade our facilities.”
