The timetable for the Royal bank of Scotland’s mobile banking unit has been confirmed.
The unit, which offers all the usual ‘in-bank’ services, is set to launch on June 18, the day after bank branches in Chirnside and Greenlaw are closed due to a decline in footfall.
The mobile bank’s schedule in Berwickshire from that date is as follows:
Lauder: 11.30-11.50am at the car park near the Eagle Pub.
Stow: 12.10-12.30am on the Main Street by the Post Office.
St Boswells: 2-2:20pm at the Bus Station.
Newtown St Boswells: 2.30-3.30pm at the Mart entrance.
Greenlaw: 10-11am at the bus stop/layby.
Coldstream: 11.20-11.40pm at the entrance to Henderson Park.
Paxton: 12 noon-12.20pm in the car park near The Cross Restaurant.
Allanton: 12.40-1pm in the layby near the Allanton Inn.
Foulden: 2.10- 2.30pm in the car park on main road
Chirnside: 2.40-3.40pm at Crosshill car park.
Chirnside 9.45-10.45am at Crosshill car park.
Swinton: 11-11.20 near the Primary School.
Leitholm: 11.40-12 noon in the Main Street layby.
Greenlaw: 1.10-2.10pm at the Bus stop/layby.
Newtown St Boswells: 2.30-3.30pm at the Mart Entrance.
On Wednesdays and Fridays the unit will also travel through East Lothian, making stops at Pathhead, West Linton, and Stow.
