‘Duns Sings A’ is proving to be a real hit

The Rattlin Crew launch their long awaited CD title Duns sings 'A'. The aim of the cd was to raise vital funds for local projects in and around Duns. The cd has been a great success so far and due to great sales we were able to make presentations of cheques to some of the local community projects such as Pipe Major Andrew Ainslie of The Duns Pipe Band towards their new Duns Tartan. The Rattlin Crew have now launched their long-awaited CD titled ‘Duns Sings A’ and it is going down a treat with the town’s residents.

The aim of the CD, which features local artistes of all ages, was to raise vital funds for local projects in and around the town.

So far the CD has been a great success and due to great sales the Rattlin Crew were able to present cheques to some of the local community projects such as Pipe Major Andrew Ainslie of The Duns Pipe Band who received £1,000 towards their new Duns Tartan.

Other groups and organisations to receive cheques were the Borders Association of Burns Clubs who received £1,000, Duns Summer Festival who received £500 and Duns Primary School who received £150 to help fund their bus to the Borders Burns competition.

Copies of the CD are still available from vatious outlets in and around Duns, however, you will need to be quick as they are selling fast!
