At the AGM of Duns Probus Club on April 23, a number of cheques, totalling £700, were presented by president, Mike Jopling to the following; £100 to the Peter Craig Eyemouth Tricycle Appeal; £100 to Duns Rotary Old Folks’ Lunch; £200 to Duns Bowling Club; £100 to Duns Scout Group; and £200 to Borders Search and Rescue.

The presentation was one of the final tasks as Probus president for Mike Jopling before he handed over to Ian Turnbull.

The new session of Duns Probus begins on Wednesday, September 17, and Duns are hosting this year’s inter-Probus Quiz on October 8.
