Two 8yr old cousins, Stuart Armstrong from Abbey St Bathans and Josh Cairns from Tweedbank raised an impressive �132 for Borders Pet Rescue after walking approx 8 miles of the Southern Upland Way: longformacus to Abbey St Bathans. Stuart and Josh handed over the cheque to a "delighted" Simon, the manager of Borders Pet Rescue at the Borders Country Fair. Stuart and Josh's parents and friends are very proud of their achievement and are waiting for their next fundraiser. Well done boys!!

Two eight-year-old cousins, Stuart Armstrong from Abbey St Bathans and Josh Cairns from Tweedbank, have raised an impressive £132 for Borders Pet Rescue.

The duo raised the money by walking approximately eight miles of the Southern Upland Way from Longformacus to Abbey St Bathans. Stuart and Josh handed over the cheque to a “delighted” Simon, the manager of Borders Pet Rescue at the Borders Country Fair.

Stuart and Josh’s parents and friends are very proud of their achievement and are waiting for their next fundraiser. Well done boys!
