Coldstream will be the Commonwealth Games’ baton first port of call in Scotland when it crosses the border on Saturday, June 14.

The arrival symbolises the moment the Commonwealth returns the Queen’s Baton to Scotland, following its 190,000 kilometres epic journey through 69 nations and territories.

The baton’s arrival will invite the local community to gather and participate in a welcoming ceremony, which will see the first selection of batonbearers proudly carrying Her Majesty’s message into Scotland.
