The electric vehicle road show heads off around the Borders in September promoting the recently installed electric vehicle charging points.
The Scottish Borders Council event is visiting five venues across the region where the rapid electric vehicle charging points have been installed, including Eyemouth and Coldstream.
Council staff will be at Coldstream’s Henderson Park car park on Thursday, September 25; then on Friday, September 26, they will be in Eyemouth at Harbour Road car park. Other events are Edinburgh Road car park, Peebles on Monday, September 22; Hawick’s Common Haugh car park on Tuesday, September 23; and Kelso Square on Wednesday, September 24. All from 10am-3pm.
As well as promoting the rapid electric vehicle charging points in the Scottish Borders, the event also allows local businesses and residents the chance to try out electric vehicles from a range of manufacturers.
