editorial image

POLICE are appealing for information following two thefts from the Houndwood area over the weekend.

Between Thursday, January 10 and Sunday, January 13, a cottage under renovation at Houndwood was forcibly entered and a generator, copper piping, ladders and other tools were stolen.

And then sometime on either Saturday or Sunday, the old church at Houndwood, which is being converted into a crematorium, was broken into and computer equipment was stolen.

Although police have yet to confirm that the two thefts are linked, they are appealing for information and asking any witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
