Teenage crash victim named
Accident between Carham and Cornhill on Monday morning 4th March 2013.
Police have named the victim of a car crash near Carham yesterday morning as 18-year-old David Thomas Ure from Wark.
Mr Ure was the driver of a Citroen involved in a collision with a timber lorry on the B6350 between Carham and Wark shortly before 8.30am.
Police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene but Mr Ure was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the HGV was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for most of the day.
