New Post Office scam

POLICe in the Borders are warning members of the public about a new scam involving members of the public being phoned by someone pertaining to be employed by the Post Office stating that there is a parcel awaiting collection.

The normal procedure for Royal Mail, Parcelforce and other delivery companies is to leave a card through your letter box if nobody is at home when the company attempt delivery.

These organisations will not phone you.
