MOTs donation for Katie-Lou

OVER the past couple of weeks many local groups and organisations have been doing their bit for Eyemouth teenager Katie-Lou MacLean by taking part in a number of fundraising activities and the latest is Berwick-based Ramparts MOT.

The company are donating 10 per cent from all MOTs carried out October to the Care for Katie-Lou Trust.

The pledge was the idea of Paul Clough whose eldest daughter is great friends with Katie-Lou and has been visiting her regularly in the Sick Kids hospital in Edinburgh after she was swept into the sea in Eyemouth on June 4, sustaining serious injuries in the process

Other people who have been busy doing their bit for Katie-Lou include Eyemouth Guides and Brownies who raised £600 at their bring and buy sale and Norman Richardson who organised last weekend’s Emergency Services Day.
