Dunbar lifeboat rescues Kevin again and again!

DUNBAR’S RNLI lifeboat volunteers could not believe it when they were called to rescue one of their colleagues for the second time in a month and the fifth time recent years.

The lifeboat pagers went off last Thursday morning after local fishermen and volunteer deputy second coxswain Kevin Keillor found himself snagged in lobster pot ropes east of Canty’s Bay near North Berwick.

A lifeboat insider said: “Its about the fifth time we’ve rescued Kevin in recent years. He keeps saying he will buy the boys a beer – but then never has any money if we see him in the pub.”
