Dunbar Coastlife Centre plan

THE Dunbar Shore and Harbour Neighbourhood Group are progressing their plan for a Coastlife Centre in the town following the recent publication of a feasbibility study by Phoenix Economics Ltd.

The facility would feature a 360 degree cinema showing films of natural life.

A spokesman for the group said: “The next stage is to continue negotiations with the site owner before endeavouring to buy the site for the community.

“The purchase would be managed through a new not-for-profit charitable company.”

“The study confirms that the concept of a Coastlife Centre is one that would be warmly welcomed by Dunbar.

“Not only would it be a really appropriate use for an important site, but it would also bring with it significant additional income for the town which would be very welcome.”
