Contact Centre to close temporarily

COLDSTREAM Contact Centre will now have to close work is taking place to integrate library and contact centre facilities in the town.

Duns and Coldstream are the first towns in the Borders to undergo the changes and as a result the contact centre in Coldstream will close its doors for around eight weeks on November 5.

Alternative arrangements are available while the contact centre is closed: to speak to a customer service adviser about your enquiry call 0300 100 1800 (local charges apply); visit www.scotborders.gov.uk or if your enquiry needs to be dealt with in person you can visit any other council contact centre.

Duns Contact Centre and Registration Office, and Coldstream Registration Office will remain open as planned.

Libraries in both towns will be closed and will be replaced with a mobile service which will visit Duns between two and four times a week and will be located in Duns Square. It will visit Coldstream between one and three times a week and will be in Victoria Street.
